Why Wu-Yi Tea is “Better Than Green Tea”

Wu-Yi Tea Versus Green Tea Diet

There seems to be green tea everywhere these days! Gum with green tea, soap with green tea, facial cream with added green tea, soda with green tea, I have even seen dog biscuits with green tea. Huh?

It’s long lost (and lesser known) cousin, oolong tea, however, seems nowwhere to be found. That is until the Wu-Yi Tea company..…..

At last he is making a comeback!

Our original certified organic Wu-Yi tea has put him back in the spotlight (where he clearly deserves to be.) This is primarily due to the new healthy, all natural diet rage that is among us. People are realizing that it is time to get healthy which means putting things in our body with the least amount of chemicals added to them and also losing deadly, heart stopping, ugly and unappealing weight. The Wu-Yi tea company, created by an organic health company, has worked diligently to formulate the ultimate all natural, certified organic tea that would not only beat green tea for it’s weight loss benefits, but blow it away!

Having known the tea business very well we set out to create the perfect harvest blend of organic Wu-Yi tea made from good ole oolong. But we did not stop there. We decided that if we are going to sell a tea for weight loss then we would have to really make the tea loaded with the important fat fighting substance, the polyphenols. Hence, the added 100% pure, certified organic tea extract standardized with the highest amounts of polyphenols available. It is no secret ingredient, we just have taken the time to make the very best quality organic tea that you can buy and have added the most potent organic extract to it, making it stronger than any other tea company out there, period.

Our certified organic original Wu-Yi Tea is now being called “better than green tea for health and weight loss.” This is due to the high amount of the polyphenol and antioxidant concentrate from the added organic oolong tea extract. This Wu-Yi tea extract we add has the highest levels of polyohenols and antioxidants available at 98%. While green tea naturally has high levels of antioxidants, our wu-yi tea has added organic extract so you are essentially getting four times the antioxidants that is in one glass of green tea. With this added boost of powerful fat fighting polyphenols, it is more tailored for weight loss support and health benefits than just drinking regular green tea or being on a green tea diet or even taking green tea supplements. Even with the very best green tea or green tea supplement you most likely will not get the high amount of polyphenols found in our certified organic Original Wu-Yi Tea with added organic tea extract.

As a matter of fact, a well know study was conducted on Japanese females on the reaction of drinking green tea versus oolong tea (wuyi tea) on weight loss effects. The study that set it all off was published in august of 2003 in the journal of medical investigation titled, “oolong tea increases energy metabolism in Japanese females.” This study sought to follow up on an earlier study involving 120 Japanese women who consumed oolong tea for 6 weeks and saw a reduction in weight versus drinking regular green tea and then others just drinking water.

The study was conducted by the University of Tokushima School of Medicine along with several other Japanese Universities. It involved 11 Japanese women who consumed either water, green tea (or matcha tea), or oolong tea after a meal. The results of green tea versus the oolong tea were very interesting. The Wu-Yi tea or also called oolong tea appeared to increase energy expenditure by 10%, green tea by 4%, and water not at all. The simple conclusion means that you burn more fat when you drink oolong tea versus green tea after a meal. This is primarily due to the higher levels of polyphenols in oolong tea than that of green tea.

This study is wonderful news for the long lost cousin, oolong. Now that our Original Wu-Yi tea has helped bring him back from obscurity with our ultimate fat fighting tea…….I believe he is here to stay.

Oo la la…oolong, you are so powerful!

So get on the healthy living train and try our certified organic Wu-Yi tea with added organic tea extract!

  4. No, but i always that would be a great idea. Very convenient so you don’t have to mix anything. Just for an idea, you can brew the tea and make ice tea out of it. You could store it in a thermus and bring it with you to work. :)

  5. If you would like to drink the tea for health benefits you may drink 1 cup of tea.
